John McCain mixes up Sunni/Shiite in two speeches……The main stream media Pounces
Hillary Clinton says she entered Bosnia under sniper fire (keep in mind, it was a war zone)…..The main stream media pounces……..
Barack Obama has made the following Gaffes, outlined beautifully by Michelle Malkin…………..Yes, Michelle Malkin…..Predictably, I will have several children comment to this posting….They will state that Michelle is a conservative…she is a racist…etc….how dare I post her words….guess what?….these are not her words….These are Barry’s words…….words the main stream media, predictably, ignores…….sorry, the truth hurts…I know.
Here are the Gaffes outlined by Malkin:
* Last May, he claimed that Kansas tornadoes killed a whopping 10,000 people: “In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died — an entire town destroyed.” The actual death toll: 12.
*Earlier this month in Oregon, he redrew the map of the United States: “Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go.”
*Last week, in front of a roaring Sioux Falls, South Dakota audience, Obama exulted: “Thank you Sioux City…I said it wrong. I’ve been in Iowa for too long. I’m sorry.”
*Explaining last week why he was trailing Hillary Clinton in Kentucky, Obama again botched basic geography: “Sen. Clinton, I think, is much better known, coming from a nearby state of Arkansas. So it’s not surprising that she would have an advantage in some of those states in the middle.” On what map is Arkansas closer to Kentucky than Illinois?
*Obama has as much trouble with numbers as he has with maps. Last March, on the anniversary of the Bloody Sunday march in Selma, Alabama, he claimed his parents united as a direct result of the civil rights movement:
“There was something stirring across the country because of what happened in Selma, Alabama, because some folks are willing to march across a bridge. So they got together and Barack Obama Jr. was born.”
Obama was born in 1961. The Selma march took place in 1965. His spokesman, Bill Burton, later explained that Obama was “speaking metaphorically about the civil rights movement as a whole.”
*Earlier this month in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Obama showed off his knowledge of the war in Afghanistan by honing in on a lack of translators: “We only have a certain number of them and if they are all in Iraq, then it’s harder for us to use them in Afghanistan.” The real reason it’s “harder for us to use them” in Afghanistan: Iraqis speak Arabic or Kurdish. The Afghanis speak Pashto, Farsi, or other non-Arabic languages.
*Over the weekend in Oregon, Obama pleaded ignorance of the decades-old, multi-billion-dollar massive Hanford nuclear waste clean-up:
“Here’s something that you will rarely hear from a politician, and that is that I’m not familiar with the Hanford, uuuuhh, site, so I don’t know exactly what’s going on there. (Applause.) Now, having said that, I promise you I’ll learn about it by the time I leave here on the ride back to the airport.”
I assume on that ride, a staffer reminded him that he’s voted on at least one defense authorization bill that addressed the “costs, schedules, and technical issues” dealing with the nation’s most contaminated nuclear waste site.
*Last March, the Chicago Tribune reported this little-noticed nugget about a fake autobiographical detail in Obama’s “Dreams from My Father:”
“Then, there’s the copy of Life magazine that Obama presents as his racial awakening at age 9. In it, he wrote, was an article and two accompanying photographs of an African-American man physically and mentally scarred by his efforts to lighten his skin. In fact, the Life article and the photographs don’t exist, say the magazine’s own historians.”
* And in perhaps the most seriously troubling set of gaffes of them all, Obama told a Portland crowd over the weekend that Iran doesn’t “pose a serious threat to us”–cluelessly arguing that “tiny countries” with small defense budgets can’t do us harm– and then promptly flip-flopped the next day, claiming, “I’ve made it clear for years that the threat from Iran is grave.”

it’s a shame you left out my favorite. during the philadelphia debate obama referred to the leader of canada as the “president of Canada”. i’m sure the Prime Minister of Canada, one of our closest neighbors, really appreciated that. and then there is oregon’s national treasure. the great lakes. the list goes on but no one seems to care. maybe they have been acclimated to stupidity by bush. it’s a pity when hillary is willing and available to be the best president we ever had. but we prefer a left wing radical nutcase with affiliations that would disqualify him for work as a federal agent, let alone the president. what is wrong with this country. dont we teach our children any history at all???

Mere days before the anniversary of the Bataan Death March (for you children, this was a horrendous and cruel trek forced upon Filipino and American POWs by their Japanese captors. Thousands died), Obama clearly showed his character. The world revolves around Barack, everything pales in comparison to Barack. History means nothing to Barry, unless it is his own.
At a lovely gourmet dinner fundraiser in NYC, Obama complained jokingly that the primary season was like the Bataan Death March. He was weary.
Oh the poor poor Obama. Those grueling private planes, that instant granting of his every wish by the attendant entourage, the adulation, the fame, the catering to his whims, the adoration of the press. How can he stand it?
Poor Obama. He just can’t get enough.

And then we have the campaign literature Obama sent to Oregon in which it was stated that he would take care of the Oregon treasure, “The Great Lakes”; and
that he would look after “Pennsylvania’s war veterans.” This must have been confusing to the people of Oregon who thought that the Great Lakes were sort of over by Illinois (you know, where Obama was a state senator) and that PA veterans probably live in PA. Of course he can’t be blamed for what goes out in his campaign literature– it’s not like he reads it, or anything.
The flip flop on Iran “being a threat, not being a threat” also would appear to have something to do with the audience it was directed at. When in Portland, OR, no threat whatsoever. When in Billings,MT, big threat and he’s known about it for some time.

obama is not a African American he is a Arab.He has no real identity. He is half-white, which he rejects. The rest of him is mostly Arab, which he hides but is disclosed by his non-African Arabic surname and his Arabic first and middle names as a way to triply proclaim his Arabic parentage to people in Kenya . Only a small part of him is African Black from his Luo grandmother, which he pretends he is exclusively.
What he isn’t, not a genetic drop of, is ‘African-American,’ the descendant of enslaved Africans brought to America chained in slave ships. He hasn’t a single ancestor who was a slave. Instead, his Arab ancestors were slave owners. Slave-trading was the main Arab business in East Africa for centuries until the British ended it.

You idiots have no idea what kind of brilliance it takes to be: 1) president of the Harvard Law Review (which is a race-blind position, in anticipation of your affirmative action remarks), 2) graduate magna cum laude from said school (the grading system is blind, meaning the professor doesn’t know who’s test he is grading as he grades – thus ipso facto also race blind) and 3) a law professor at the University of Chicago.
I’m no Obamaniac, but those credentials virtually guarantee that he would be one of the most intelligent presidents ever to hold office.
At the same time, John McCain can’t use a computer, and has the scuples to sing “Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran.” Brilliant.

Senator Obama did not believe the Surge (which has saved hundreds of American and Iraq lives) was a successful tactic – in HINDSIGHT (!) ?
I can understand how he could have been against the Surge before the fact – that’s just a plain mistake, but to hold the same judgment after the fact is just plain stupid. I am glad he has figured it out after all these months, but this man has no business anywhere near the White House. He does not know what he is doing.

troop increase didn’t reduce violence, bribing 72,000 enemy combatants $10 per day is what has violence down (remember the Anbar awakening?), and the political gains that were supposed to come with the surge have not materialized. calling the surge a success is something that even general Petraeus won’t do because of the lack of political stability (he says the military objectives have been met…) and the general also says that there is no victory in Iraq. What all you surge pumpers think about that?
McCain and the neocons who speak through his mouth have ruined everything about this country, and i know that many of us will emigrate elsewhere if McCain is elected. His warmongering combined with the lack of thought behind his decisions (fire SEC head, we are all “Georgians”, predicting war in iraq the day after 9/11?!? Palin…) are a disastrous combination that will oversee the fall the the US as the world bands together against selfish american influence and policies.
just another example of someone who thinks that their last name earns them the right to be president, but who doesn’t have the mental capacity or intellect to write his own speeches, let alone his own policies.
at least be honest with yourself and say you won’t vote for a black man. all these criticisms of Obama only cover up this fact, so at least be honest with yourself, i already see through all the rest of the lies and deception that you are hiding behind. you don’t have to vote for him, but at least be honest to yourself about why you won’t.

Interesting that if Obamessiah is such a smart lawyer, how come he didn’t publish a SINGLE paper while editor of the Harvard Law Review. That would make him the ONLY person to have held that position that never published anything during his term. What was he doing?? Practicing to be president? Voting present? If Barack is elected, the Baby Boomers are in big trouble. He wants to tax the sale of their house when they have to retire – you know, their main source of remaining retirement income – take some of it??? Yeah. You’d better find a way to shelter your money and your property, because he’ll show up to take some of it. After all, Europe might not be okay with that (you keeping it).

If your political choices are consistent with Barack Obama’s and you think that his positions will bring America together or make it a better place, then you will probably enjoy the ride and not forward this E mail. If you are like most Americans that after examining what he stands for, are truly not in line with his record, it would be prudent to get off the wave or better yet, never get on, before it comes on shore and undermines the very foundations of this great Country. We have limited time to save America or the Supreme Court as we know it.

This nation has survived FAR worse crises than anything we have remotely experienced in the past 5 decades (Civil War, WWI, Great Depression, WWII). So please spare me “the fall of the US” tears.
I am not certain what argument you are trying to make — if I choose not to vote for Senator Obama, then: a) I am a racist, or b) the US will collapse.
Regardless, both conclusions are false.
I choose not to vote for Senator Obama, because his is not the best candidate in terms of economic policy, national defense policy, or domestic policy (most notably his energy “plan”). This is my opinion.
The difference between you and me is that I will respect those voting for Senator Obama, believing that the vast majority are acting honorably, just as I have (i.e. in the best interests of the country), even if we hold different opinions.
If Senator Obama becomes the next President, I will respect him and support him to the same extent I have respected and supported every President elected in my lifetime – because I trust the American People, Freedom, and Democracy.
Can you (truly and honestly) say the same?

Consider this scenario:
A Republican candidates’ history….
Had a 10 year relationship with an abortion clinic bomber (Ayers)
20 years attending the World Church of the Creator (neo nazi church) (Rev. Wright)
Major childhood influence was Joe McCarthy (Frank Marshall Davis)
Had a several business dealings with G. Gordon Liddy (Tony Rezko)
Was involved, trained, represented, and gave money to a national union busting organization. (ACORN)
Called inner city residents “Angry, underachieving, clinging to government assistance with antipathy towards those that are not like them.
I imagine I could go on a bit, find analogies for Louis Farrakhan, Father Pfleger, Khalid Al-Mansour, and Rashid Khalidi and on and on and on.
If the messiah was applying for a security clearance, he could not even get one!!!…yet he will be President….amazing.
The point is; if a Republican, or conservative, (they are not mutually inclusive any longer) were to have this history, he would not be elected DOG CATCHER!!!! Not because of the liberal media, although they would be on this like white on rice, but because the clear thinking half of the US electorate has the intellectual honesty to run this guy out of town. The left is so blinded by their hate and agenda that they do not even realize they are ushering in their own demise. So many Obama supporters I speak to don’t even know about any of these issues in his past. Yet they are on the bandwagon slurping Kool-Aid and singing “Obamaya my lord” all the while our country will be unrecognizable in a generation.
The funny thing is, even on the issues Obama has it all wrong. Furthermore even liberals should shudder at the notion of Obama, Reid and Pelosi running roughshod unchecked with a super majority in the Senate. Even the looniest liberal must know that too much of a good thing is not good…right?

You may get your wish but bear in mind that having enabled this precedent, once YOU say something out of line with this monster you are spawning, it will move quickly and mercilessly to silence YOU.
Dead on analogy with the iceburg and I’m afraid too many in our country are woefully complacent and take for granted our “unsinkable” liberties.
