Over the last few months, Keith Olbermann’s unwaivering bias, and support, for Barack Obama has become all too obvious…..Keith is clearly in the tank for Obama, and he will do what ever he can to take down both Hillary (see: ridiculous rant attacking her for RFK remark, which the obama campaign distributed), and McCain.
While the teamwork between team Obama and Keith is quite obvious…what is not so obvious, to most, is that Keith is getting a good share of his material from the far-left wing, and blindly Obama supporting, Daily Kos (last week the daily kos juxtaposed pictures of Jenna Bush’s wedding to bloody pictures of soldiers killed in Iraq)
Keith has his own journal on the daily kos, where he schemes with Kos Bloggers, on what his shows topics should be.
Also, he frequently posts comments on the site….most recently, he can be found strategizing……in the Kos comments section………….about how to take down McCain. (thanks to Olbermann watch for discovering this)

Keith Olberman was undoubtedly the “safety partrol” kid who used his “position” to try to intimidate little kids. I’d love to hear from those who knew hm then. Olberamann’s reporting is so biased I stopped watching MSNBC. I honestly believe he is actually a republican and purposely shuns McCain while and overly covers Obama. People see this obvious biased reporting and are sick of it. No wonder MSNBC has the lowest cable news rating and FoX News has the highest. Fox tends to lean right somewhat but at least they are no biased like MSNBC.

I was so excited to view McCain’s acceptance speech and was quite surprised and wondered why Keith Oberman was the primary commentator for the Repulican Convention. At every turn he was ridiculing Palin and McCain. I assumed the commentator would be unbiased and just report the happenings of the event. He wasted no time in slinging mud at every opportunity. I was impressed with his reporting of the Iraq War on the U.S.’s initial entry into the war, however, with the commentary, or lack there of, of the Republican Convention he has lost my respect. He has used his status of reporting to news, as it happens, as his own, personal, sounding board . Shame on you Keith Oberman

I have a question I’ve been pondering about the democratic ticket.
It seems to me the democrats have a foolproof opportunity to win the white house.
As a sitting US Senator, Obama presently has more ability to affect the US tax code than if he were elected President. He should use that power now.
Pelosi and Reid both tout Obama’s plans to reduce the burden on middle class tax payers as the only option for success. As the leaders of the house and senate they are uniquely placed to drive the legislative process.
The democrats control both the house and senate and tax legislation begins in the congress, specifically in the house of representatives, not the white house.
If Barack Obama has a plan for cutting middle class taxes, why doesn’t he have his staff/experts draft a bill and ask Charlie Rangle (a fellow african american) to introduce the legislation that will put his tax reduction plan into action RIGHT NOW! If Charlie refuses, Nancy Pelosi could take away his chairmanship of the committee and give it to someone more likely to play ball.
I know it will take time to navigate committees in the house and senate and reach the floor for full votes but if the democrats try really hard, they might be able have the bill on President Bush’s desk before the november election. Even if it took longer, they could argue that if Americans want the tax cuts they have to elect Obama President.
If the Republicans try to block the bill, the the democrats can enlist the media to cast the spotlight the republicans responsible. In either case, the republican party and its candidate would be at a significant disadvantage.
If Pres Bush veto’d the bill, the democrats could say “See you have to elect Obama because the Republicans won’t cut your taxes.”
If Pres Bush signs the bill, the democrats can point to their achievements and Obama can tout his wisdom for originating the plan.
From my perspective this seems to be a no lose option for the democrats but they aren’t doing it.
The only reason I can think they don’t AT LEAST TRY to do this is because they don’t have any intention OF EVER cutting taxes to the middle class and notwithstanding his rhetoric to the contrary,Obama is either lying or seriously misguided.
I would love to hear your thoughts on my logic???

Looks like we have an onslaught of Obama Supporters from reading the last four comments. Ray, they must of gotten wind of your wonderful website.
What always amazes me is the level of hostility that Obama Supporters have for anyone who does not agree with them. All over the MSM Internet “comment” sites they rant and rave about McCain and Palin and how Obama will be the savior of all.
As I have noted in my other posts on your site; I have NEVER before voted for a Republican for President. I voted for former President Bill Clinton twice, and then Gore in 2000 and Kerry in 2004. This year for me, however is very different!!! I AM voting McCain/Palin (and there are millions of others who are making the same decision to vote for the REFORMERS that we absolutely need in Washington – McCain/Palin).
I will briefly share what caused me to make this seemingly 180 degree turn. First, let me say that I am not a ideologue when it comes to politics (although I have always been politically involved). I think that people who allow themselves to be brainwashed by an ideology on the left or the right are a danger to real Democracy (for example, the Neocons and now the far left-wing Obama Dems).
No one group has total ownership of the Truth or the answers to every crises (and it is dangerous and arrogant to think that any one “group” has all the answers). I believe that it is important to think for yourself and question the leadership (of any group); because power (and money) are seductive and corrupting influences to even the best leaders (you must always be wary of the potential for corruption of even those who hold the highest of ideals).
I worked in government for 15 years as a REFORMER (starting from the work I did “on a grassroots level” in the civil rights and peace movements. As a student at Rutgers University in New Jersey, I was a “Community Organizer;” back when “Community Organizers” REALLY did something for the Community (most real “Community Organizers” that I knew didn’t end up living in 1.9 million dollar mansions). Of course we had our share of what we called “poverty pimps;” (those folks did end up with multi-million dollar slush funds). The present day “Poverty Pimp Organizations” include “Acorn” and other “non-profits” such as those created by Ayers and Obama in Chicago.
These organizations are established in principle to serve the “poor and underprivileged” and instead these groups are ripping off tax payers and bonefide charitable organizations. The really scary fact is that if Senator Obama should be elected POTUS the United States Treasury will be a big giant slush fund for the use and pillage of those who will utilize critical issues such as poverty, energy, education, health care, and the environment to steal taxpayer dollars and line their pockets. The Wall Street debacle will look like small potatoes after these folks get done raiding the US Treasury.
When the Presidential Primary began for the 2008 Election for POTUS, I kept an eye on both the Democrat and Republican Primaries and in the end I supported Senator Hillary Clinton and actively worked for her during the DEM Party Primary. Even before I selected Senator Clinton, I found Senator Obama to be a bit too slick for me. His speeches sounded good but there was little or no substance in what he presented as his vision for “hope and change.” I researched all of the Candidates and there was A LOT OF DISTURBING information about Senator Obama that was being glossed over and ignored by his Supporters, the Obama Campaign, the MSM and the DNC Leadership.
The final action on the part of the Obama Campaign and the DNC Leadership that made it absolutely impossible for me to EVER support Senator Obama for election as POTUS was the fraud that was committed during the Democrat Party Primary Caucuses. This voter fraud is totally documented by Dr. Lynette Long and can be reviewed on her website. As the fiasco of the Democrat Party Primary was unfolding, I was pleased to see that Senator McCain was winning the Republican Party Nomination. To me, Senator McCain was usually a voice of reason in the Republican Party. Senator McCain has consistently stood up and challenged wrongheaded decisions by his own Party. Senator McCain does NOT represent an extension of the Bush policies; Senator McCain has always been a REFORMER.
As a matter of fact, Senator McCain was a co-sponsor of legislation back in 2005 and 2006 that would have reigned in the dangerous fiscal activities of FannieMae and FreddieMac. Perhaps had the McCain, Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac “Oversight Legislation” passed two or three years ago; we (most likely) would NOT be (now) facing the worst economic disaster since the Great Depression.
To me the choice IS clear between, Senator Obama, an ethically challenged, self-serving politician born of the corrupt Chicago political machine (who sometimes gives inspiring speeches) and Senator McCain, a courageous and committed Reformer who always puts service to his Country first. With the votes of millions of other former Hillary Clinton Supporters who feel as I do, Senator John McCain will be elected

You confuse my statement that Obama Supporters represent “all Dems;”

Your logic takes you to the mistaken belief that ALL DEMS ARE OBAMA SUPPPORTERS.
As a matter of fact, many Democrats ARE NOT SUPPORTING OBAMA!!!
These folks would include a large number of former Senator Hillary Clinton supporters who are very clearly voting for the BEST CANDIDATES now running for POTUS and VP, and they are Senator John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin!!!

You see, GAV what I have found is that there is NO ROOM for civil debate with MANY Obama supporters (such as perhaps yourself). What many in the Obama Campaign have done to millions of former Senator Hillary Clinton supporters is behave like two year olds having a temper tantrum because we did not see your candidate, Senator Obama in the same way that you did. Basically we did not see Senator Obama as the best choice for POTUS and we still don’t!!
GAV, you do not speak for ALL DEMS, you do not speak for me and when your candidate Senator Obama looses the election for POTUS (and he surely will) then you can go back and look in the mirror and see who caused him to loose this election.
You CAN NOT bully people into voting for Senator Obama, last time I looked the USA was still a democracy. You GAV do not OWN MY VOTE.

In the Democrat Party Primary, I worked for Senator Hillary Clinton and I believe that Senator Obama’s Campaign used voter fraud to win the Democrat Party Nomination. The voter fraud that happened during the Democrat Party Primary is well documented on these two sites:

Tyranny does not usually win over adherents!! The behavior of the “new Democrat Party” under the Leadership of the DNC and the Obama Campaign is turning off many in the Democrat Party and many Independents too.
I know you will probably respond that either I could not possibly be a former Hillary supporter and/or I must really be a Republican. I have NEVER voted for a Republican candidate for POTUS in my life, I voted for Carter, Clinton twice, Gore and Kerry. Now I am proudly voting for McCain/Biden. They are both REFORMERS and true patriots!!!
In a Democracy this is POSSIBLE, that is what I love about this Country. Every person has the right to vote for the candidate that they think is best without intimidation and threats from others.
Unfortunately many Senator Obama supporters do not respect the rights of others to think and choose for themselves and there are lots of folks like me who DO NOT LIKE THAT!!!
Tonight in the VP Debate, Gov. Palin did an outstanding job. We need more courageous people like Gov. Sarah Palin (and Senator John McCain) in Washington. I may not agree with Gov. Palin on every issue but I do agree with her on this one; Washington needs to drastically change and she and Senator McCain are just the Team to make those changes!!!

I am so appalled by Keith “ranting mouth” Olbermann. He is a disgrace to all journalists and newscasters.
I have stopped using msn on my computer and will not turn on msnbc any more in the evenings as the owners and powers that be allow such lopsided anger on the airwaves.
They should do Keith a favor and fire him all the way instead of just the slap on the hand demotion he received, hopefully before he suffers a heart attack during one of hit spit throwing rants.

Olberman seems to have been both effective in his desire to support a winner, but he also dispells a lot of CRAPOLA that comes out of the mouth of that perv O’Reilly. Time to put this site to bed, boys.

Defective is a far better way to describe Olberman as “CRAPOLA” defines his show. It would be fair for me to say that I don’t agree with O’Reilly on a few issues and I hate his approach at times but philosophically (for the most part) he is correct which explains why he just DESTROYS Olberman in the ratings (that also being because Olberman is a consistantly self-absorbed, pompous windbag that makes O’Reilly when at his worst, look humble).
So much for “dispelling CRAPOLA”.
That being said, you are implying here that Olberman actually WON THE ELECTION FOR OBAMA (a concept that is fantastical and ludicrous and PERFECTLY in character with the delusional Far-Left worldview). Hell, a stopped watch is right twice a day as the old saying goes so it’s no great feat that Olberman could actually back someone who wins. No credit to any great inluence of Olberman needed here.
Finally, Olbermans abuse of Bachs’ “Tocatta and Fugue in D Minor” is getting REALLY old. But what do you expect, a glimpse of original imagination coming from this self-absorbed clod?

Olberman is an unbelievable ass, who does not provide even commentary. Extremely one sides, and truth be told…..what will his legacy be? it’s a shame when TV pays people like this to shovel their distorted, outrageous views. The network is as bad as he is….MSNBC does not play in my house because of such a one-sided, self promoting, overpaid, commentator.

moderate liberals have had to put up with far worse voices from the right that cheated, lied, and everything else. They will have a tough time getting passed the pearly gates. Oberman has not lied during his show.
