I got to work this morning (after Michelle’s speech last night) and am surrounded by Obama supporters (in Chicago, IL). They were asking why the democratic party did not put forth any message and were upset with last night’s event. Michelle did present their message “America is not what it could be”, “hope and change”. Not exactly the details the public has been waiting for.

Thank you for your clarity, truth – and most of all brevity. Though I, too, am doing a Denver Watch blog, I just could NOT watch her lying infamy after a few minutes. Not since I saw her in MSM interview last week, fawn eyed and innocent as she BALD FACED LIED again, stating how her hubby was RAISED BY A SINGLE MOM.
Others still spread that spin out of drama or indifferent ignorance of the facts- but she KNOWS how he was really raised- and by who – and SHE LIED ANYWAY.

I can’t believe that these people can look into the camera and lie. It just is so sad. I wish that the media would pay attentio the to state of Ill economy. Its not doing so well I understand. No wonder Obama is not featuring his home state. He lied at the speech when he introduced Biden, didn’t he? The Gov is going to be impeached. The tax rates are the highest in the country and business are laying off workers. The state is billions in debt, yet the Gov wants billions for construction I think of a casino? Oh well every city in every state will have an abortion clinic on the corner, a gambling casino on our bays and pornographic video shop open 24/7 lining our main streets. Our children walking by on the way to socialized schools.

CNN: CLINTON TO SKIP OBAMA’S BIG SPEECH
DENVER (CNN) – Hillary Clinton will be on hand for Barack Obama’s acceptance speech, but according to a source close to former President Bill Clinton, he will not: the source tells CNN that Clinton will not join his wife at Invesco Field Thursday night.
Sounds like the DNC is UNITED!
Notice how Hillary could have plugged any name into that speech. She really didnt get too specific about Obama at all. I would love to see an edited speech with John Edwards or John Kerrys name plugged in instead of Obamas. The speech would have had the same message. Very generic. Its obvious the Clintons do not want Obama to win as they are plotting Hillarys run in 2012.

Obama camp: Prosecute Simmons
Obama general counsel Bob Bauer today sent a second, sharper letter to the Justice Department, directly attacking the Dallas billionaire funding a harsh attack ad, Harold Simmons.
“We reiterate our request that the Department of Justice fulfill its commitment to take prompt action to investigate and to prosecute the American issues Project, and we further request that the Department of Justice investigate and prosecute Howard (sic) Simmons for a knowing and willful violation of the individual aggregate contribution limits,” he wrote.
He called the group’s activities “patently illegal.”
Bauer made the case that Simmons’ group fulfilling its a real nonprofit charter because it hasn’t spent any money on anything other than attacking Obama.
The American Issues Project released a statement responding to the letter.
“Having failed in its attempts to get our legal, factual and fully-supported ad off the air, Barack Obama’s campaign now wants to put our donors in prison for exercising their right to free speech,” said Ed Martin, the group’s president. “These over-the-top bullying tactics are reminiscent of the kind of censorship one would see in a Stalinist dictatorship, with the only difference being that those guys generally had to wait until they were in power to throw people who disagreed with them into jail.”
The group said its ad would continue to air through the end of the Democratic National Convention. Simmons has spent almost $3 million to air the ad, which can be seen on the group’s site.
A spokeswoman for the Justice Department, Laura Sweeney, had no comment on the second letter.
It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time Bauer has called for criminal investigations and prosecutions into the donors to independent groups critical of Obama, including one supporting John Edwards and another supporting Hillary Rodham Clinton. His words did have the effect of scaring their donors and consultants, but haven’t yet appeared to result in any prosecution.
Rick Hasen has some more thoughts on the law, suggesting that Simmons, at worst, will face fines after it’s too late to matter.

As a Vietnam Veteran (woman), I love my country, and I know we had many immigrants who came to t his country. But, they legally stood in long lines and waited for their citizenship. The illegal are buying bundles of fake documents ($160). They goto fast checking cashing places to cash their illegal paychecks (no taxes) and then despoit the money into their bank accounts (under their real names). Billions of dollars tax free. Many of these illegals are muslims-islamics. They have taken over england and now england cannot fly their flag at sport games, it offends the muslims. We have over 2000 mosques and schools (MIST) for arab-islamics in our country. The reason why we are loosing our middle class is the millions that are being brought in are low-wage earners.
