How can we get people to follow the Odinga? Have not been able to verify, but got a tip pro-Odinga local Kenyan newspapers have stories from 2006 with Obama making anti-American statements while on tour there…could be audiotape of that too, if reporters there recorded it. These papers aren’t archived online, but would be on microfiche SOMEWHERE. Any connections who could sleuth those out?

It’s about time that people are catching on to Obama the liar. I am a 63 yr old black female Hillary supporter who marched with Dr. King during my college days. Obama is a fake and a race-baiter like George Wallace. With the lying tactic he pulled on the Clintons in SC, he dishonored himself and made a fool out of black people. I detest him for that and I will never, ever vote for him.

The reason I call him a lying race-baiter is as follows: Obama won IA, lost NH, lost NV comming up to SC. He had to win SC. With Hillary leading the black vote at 65% and leading in the SC poll, he had to pry those votes from her and he had little time to do it. Thus, he used race tinged innuendoes, racial lies, James Clyburn, and the media to help him turn the tide by making black folks furious and angry BY insinuating Bill and Hillary was “playing the race card”. It worked to perfection. Does it make sense to any thinking person that under the polling info as outlined that Bill and Hillary would come into SC, piss off balck people and expect them to vote for HILLary? The answer is an emphatic no! This thing named Obama pulled off a political coup with lies, complicity of the media and Clinton haters, and Republicans out to get the Clintons. He succeeded because he has made a fool out of all the people on this issue. He is laughing at all of you who bought into his bullshit. I TRULY DESPISE THE A**HOLE FOR THIS STUNT.

Wisewoman, you are very very wise. I guess they had to make the Clintons racist because otherwise if he didn’t win SC he wouldn’t be legit. And then they hammered that all the way home throughout the primaries and even still now. Even now if you go to GCI or B103 radio station they are still hammering away at the Clintons… I remember after Pennsylvannia the radio dj’s asked callers if they would still support Hillary if she were the nominee and they all said ‘no’ and bashed her some more. I mean what did they expect after igniting that fire?

Thanks for the site. I can’t believe this Obama nothing fellow has gotten anywhere. It absolutely amazes me. I mean, who the heck is this guy and why on earth does anyone think he should be President? He has no national experience! I don’t get it. Well, for the first time in my life I’ll be voting Republican, and of course the Repubs will probably lose. Bummer. It’ll be the first time in my life I’ll be upset the Repubs lost. Oh well, I guess I’m just never on the pulse. It seems like Obama is already President somehow. The media has decided this. Weird. Well, good luck everybody! Shocking how the Dems treated the Clintons, the most talented people in politics. Shocking shocking. Well, who knows what will really happen. The media had been bashing Clinton and saying she had no chance ever since the Iowa primary, and she basically won the election, and I still don’t understand how she didn’t ge the nomination. But, my point is the media is not to be believed, they have no credibility. ON the other hand, the Repubs have screwed things up so badly I think even my dog could win in November, so perhaps Obama, whoever he is, will win after all. O-bummer!

Senator Barack Obama is a high-ranking government official, elected by the people of Illinois, the Land of Lincoln. Senator Obama swore to represent the citizens and uphold the ideals of his home state when he took office. Senator Obama failed to do his fundamental duties when he was confronted by a persuasive and influential bigot in his place of worship.
For 20 years, Senator Obama had the authority and opportunity to confront Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s racist antics. And Senator Obama did little or nothing to stop Jeremiah Wright’s outrageous sermons and lies about the US government. The government that Senator Obama committed to protect and serve. Senator Obama’s inaction allowed Jeremiah Wright to continue on and on spewing divisive messages and lies for years uninterrupted.
When Senator Obama’s judgment was put to the test, Senator Obama simply failed to uphold the principles of his home state. Senator Obama failed to represent his constituents in a big way.
To make matters worse, Senator Obama showed his highest respect and regard for Jeremiah Wright by immortalizing his twisted mentor in his writings and bestselling book. Senator Obama’s audacity is unbelievable!
Senator Obama showed no courage, no backbone, to stand up to a bully in a pulpit. And now he wants to bring the same weak leadership to the White House as president and as Commander-in-Chief of the US Armed Forces. Shame on Senator Barack Obama!
If Senator Obama appears to be a perfect candidate, it is simply because he has not done much He has not taken meaningful stance on many important issues. He claims voting against the Iraq war as a sound accomplishment. Senator Obama simply lived up to his extreme, left-wing, anti-any-conflict sentiments. How convenient. Senator Obama could not stop Reverend Jeremiah how could he possibly go up against Osama or Saddam Hussein?

Senator Obama clings to individuals who held extreme, radical and even terrorist views for the most part of his adult life. If Senator Barack Obama is the ideal Commander-in-Chief in the 21st century, GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Long before the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s, men and women of all colors fought and died sided by side for the cause. Black Americans helped shape the United States since the founding of our republic. Great men and women like Frederick Douglas, George Washington Carver, MLK, Thurgood Marshall, Colin Powell, Ronald McNair and Condee Rice all served our country proudly in their own special ways.
Since the birth of our nation, the United States has done more to advance the cause of mankind and civil rights than any nation on earth. And Americans will continue the legacy of the brave men and women who preserved our way of life well into the future. Senator Obama is a beneficiary of the success and steel resolve of the American people.
Americans don’t need Senator Obama’s lofty speeches. Liberty and the sacrifices of those who came before us are our inspiration.
Martin Luther King had a dream that some day the future leaders of America will be judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Courage, integrity, loyalty, wealth of experience and sense of duty to this country are important qualities, too.
Of all the respectable people in America, Senator Obama chose to idolize a flaming racist bigot Jeremiah Wright. Some judgment, Senator Obama. It is safe to say this is not exactly what the civil rights movement and the those who struggled for the cause had in mind.
I don’t believe Senator John McCain is perfect either. The man has been a public servant all of his life. He accomplished so much. People will find some of his achievements agreeable and some disagreeable. His decisions, political positions, proposals, victories and failures are available for any interested voters to see. There is enough material out there for the Americans to really size him up and make informed decision if he is up to the task.
I’m supporting John McCain because more than any member of senate, he truly made valiant efforts to work on both sides of the aisle. Much to the disappointment of his party bosses. John McCain really put country first before party. Don’t take my word for it. That is how he is ragarded by the leading members of the Democratic and Republican Parties. John McCain is a meverick.
Oridinary citizens are quietly drawn to that complex, boundless and timeless idealism. John McCain has a natural toughness about him. It’s real and sincere. I can only hope to be as strong, as determined and as fiery as John McCain when I get to his age.
Many great leaders and commanders the world has ever known reached their finest moments in their personal and professional life well into their 60 and 70 years of age. Douglas McArthur, FDR, Ronald Reagan and Winston Churchill are among the legendary figures. Experience cannot be taught nor rushed. John McCain’s golden age makes him the ideal Commander-in-Chief in these difficult times.
Americans survived greater challenges in our brief history. We won a revolution. We overcame the enormous toll and sorrow of civil war. We outlasted the great depression. We turned night time into day with the invention of the light bulb. We recorded the sound of music. We enabled long distance communication with the telephone. We set foot on the moon.
The people of the United States, held together by a common language and belief in our constitution, elevated mankind to great heights. Contrary to Senator Obama’s bleak outlook and what he would have you believe, the American people will get through this economic down turn better than ever.
The rugged American spirit is alive and well in all of us. If the past is any indication of the future, Americans will continue to blaze new trail. Americans don’t need Senator Obama’s big government handout and empty promises.
John McCain will lead our nation not just in words, but above all, in action.

As a true gesture of postpartisanship, unlike the constant promise of same in all his ‘words,’ what say Chicagoans unite, regardless of party affiliation, in a public movement against Barack Obama and the Daley Chicago Machine?
Imagine if a small gathering turned into a fairly large gathering of those opposed to the one-party state political domination and continued corruption by way of the mess created by the likes of Mayor Daley, Todd Stroger, Rod Blago, Mike Madigan, Emil Jones… and all the hacks, chronies, accomplices who have traded endorsements (Barack first among them) while County, City and State budgets reach historic high defecits…
before the meltdown results in political chaos due to waste, nepotism, corruption, indictments in this city, how about the rumblings of a new, Independent Chicago political party that rebuts the smug, arrogant, abuse of power and the public trust in Cook County, Chicago, and Springfield?

Wow…nice to know there are others in the Chicagoland area that refuse to vote for Obama. I’m one of those people that have never been heavily into politics. I guess traditionally my views are more aligned with the Republican party, but I have no qualms voting Democrat. I want (as most of us do) whoever will be best for the country.
I have been digging up info on both Obama and McCain in trying to make the most educated decision possible. I’m honestly not thrilled with either candidate, but Obama just makes my skin crawl ! I read his “Blueprint for Change” and shuddered at ever word. Talk about “Big Brother” flashbacks…and where is all the money coming from to support all of the new governmentally controlled “plans” he has? Oh yeah, us. I truly believe that he’ll spend, spend, spend and that we’ll be in a much worse state economically than what we are today.
Oh well, enough venting for now. Just wanted to say great job on the site and that I’m glad there’s hope for Chicago-ans to see the light.

Obama supporters are blinded by the IMAGE of Obama and cannot (will not ?) see the facts. There are those of us that are not blinded, and see that ‘the emperor has no clothes!’ The facts are that Obama is a leftist extremist whose ONLY GOAL for all his years as a public figure is the same as Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson; exploit race, and exploit victims of racism – black and white! – to gain political power. How has he succeeded where they haven’t? He can deliver a speech? He’s half white which somehow makes a difference? He was tapped by the democratic political machine to be the golden boy last convention? He uses conveniently being the only (half-) black candidate that ever ran for president as if it itself qualifies him for the job?

McCain backers in Chicago need to stand together. Last Friday at my office there are at least 3 Obama shirts being worn, and no one said a thing! I bought a McCain t-shirt and am wearing it tomorrow, lets see how much slack I get from my not always too bright peers. Thank God most of them are probably not registered to vote.
I am not a radical, but I think it is time Chicago starts to really “Change!” Thank God, people are starting to realize that he just talks in circles. Young independent thinkers, lets get involved…

Stop intensely focusing on how people are labeled and look at what happens if mccain palin gets elected.

a continuation of nonsense foreign policy. nonsense energy policy, and a totally nonsensical tax code that does not make the people and corporations that have all the money use it for this country.
this election can not be about racism, sexism, eliteism, or absolutely anything having to do with the exterior shape, color, size, of one’s body, or pocketbooks. Rather, it has to be about content of their character, and what they want to do to make this a better place to live.
And seriously if you people are real and not republican operatives to begin with, you do not want to see a cementing of the George W. Bush Legacy for the rest of your life in the supreme court. You do not want to see abortion rights repealed as if we were back in the 1950′s. Gov. Palin does not even believe in abortion in the case of rape or incest. That is extreme. and while they say they represent “change” that change is the difference between a category 5 hurricane (GW BUSH) and a category 4 (McCain-Palin). sure its not a as bad, but its still going to mess the country up.
Really, think about it, and not about anything on the outside of the body please.

Hmm….someone needs to thoroughly research both parties. Its interesting how people make the assumption just because Palin is a women she can do no wrong. HELLO, the woman is currently under investigation for abuse of power. And this all happened in under 2 YEARS!!! So God knows what should do with the power of the office of presidency in 4 years.
In addition, she has about as much experience as Obama. Unless, you included Palin’s PTA president credentials then yes, that gives her more years of experience in a “top role”. Which, in that case, me and thousands of other women in America need to also join the McCain cabinet as Secretary of State, Defense, and Education!!!
What sickens me is that misguided voters are going to fall prey to the lies of the McCain-Palin ticket. I’d rather have an inexperienced person in office versus individuals there who have past records of theft, abuse of power, and a spouse who has a drug problem. WAKE UP!!

Oh, Please. You need to get around more. Have you no knowledge of the women who diligently use birth control for years and get pregnant due to imperfect birth control methods? So according to what you are saying, they should be criminalized for getting an abortion. And in that case, 11 year old girls who get raped by their fathers, or 12 year old victims of human trafficking who are gang raped by 10 men at a time should be forced to endure an 8 month pregnancy while they are attending the 5th or 6th grade.

John McCain picked a running mate who has never been outside of the United States until last year. She’s 44 years old. Last year was the first time she got a passport. This is the person that John McCain feels is the BEST person to handle our nation’s complex foreign policy issues and can be a WORLD LEADER? I hope Charlie Gibson asks her to name the different countries on the world map, the name of their leaders, their types of governement, the foreign policy issues of each country, and where our country stands on each and every one of those issues. That would be enlightening for the American people.

I can meet you halfway there. I disagree when the child has to suffer for bad choices both parents choose to make ( the “father” ditching his child and responsibilities or the mother choosing an abortion. If abortion is the option chosen, I would definitely hold the guy partly accountable for the horrific choice) but you are entirely spot on that guys who have no control over their drives need to step up, be men and take responsibility for their children and their actions.

This site is so encouraging. Seems a lot of info out of Illinois is getting around now. I spoke to a man originally from Bosnia who said he now is reconsidering his choice (Obama). He hadn’t heard about Ayers. Violence over power/politics took place in his home country. He feels if info about Obama and Ayers is true, we are in a dangerous position.

Sure could use your insights and wisdom now on a lot of what is going on these days. Crap & Trade and Health Care Deform are two issues that could wipe us out as a Country if they get passed by Congress in the next few months (or weeks if Obama has his way). No sense in taking the time to read the bills; just railroad them through even if this stuff bankrupts the Country.
The newest polls sure look like the American citizens are waking up and are not real pleased with Obama and Company. Independents in particular are jumping off the Obama tax and spend wagon.
Anyway take care. Lots of us are working hard to see that our Nation makes it through all of the crazy stuff going on in Washington, D.C. The big march planned for September in D.C. should defintely be a turning point; hope to see you there.

Another few months have gone by and again we sure could use your great insights and energy Ray in working to get our Nation back on track to sanity and finacial solvency. I have comments that are still in moderation (for months) over at the new site “New School Republican” and I bet many others do too (not complaining, just saying:-).
The November 2009 Elections have come and gone and we did turn the tide in Virginia and New Jersey by winning the Governorships. The POTUS and Democrat Party “Thugs” used all of their corrupt tactics but the voters sent a message of “HELL NO!” to Obama and Company.
Ray, you did an awesome job in the 2008 Presidential campaign and you helped to plant the seeds of TRUTH at CAO. These seeds are sprouting now everywhere; people are seeing POTUS Obama and the Democrat Party Fraud for what it is – a bunch of corrupt criminal minded politicians who are quickly spending our Nation into bankruptcy.
The Democrat Party was taken over and is being run now by the Chicago “Thug Party” Machine (we have our own version of that corrupt “Thuggary” here in New Jersey). To the credit of the New Jesey voters, a few weeks ago the Political “Thug” Machine got beat here in New Jersey – even Obama and all of his charisma couldn’t turn the tide because the New Jersey citizens have had enough of big government spending, political corruption and out of control taxes.
With 2010 and 2012 just around the corner; we need you back Ray. I know that it takes a tremendous committment and sacrifice to keep up a blog like this and the one over at “New School Republican” I am sure you received personal threats and we don’t even know the half of it; many of the folks supporting the election of POTUS Obama were beyond vicious.
